Steel Camp privacy policy
Steel Camp works offline and does not collect training data. What you enter in the app stays on the device. A form on the Steel Camp page can email Steelbridge for a beta invite.
Who this covers
This policy is for the Steel Camp app, bundle identifier io.steelbridge.steelcamp, on iPhone, iPad, and Android, and for the beta form on the Steel Camp page. The website’s general policy is at steelbridge.io/privacy. Steelbridge is in Sisters, OR 97759.
Data collected
The app collects none. Steel Camp does not collect personal information, usage data, or diagnostics for Steelbridge. There is no account, no sign-in, and no profile. The app does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or contacts. The beta form is separate and is described below.
What stays on the device
Camps and the rest of what you enter are stored in local storage on that device. Steelbridge does not run a server that receives that data. There is no analytics and no third-party data collection. The app does not sell data, share data, or use advertising.
If you back up the phone with the system backup, the operating system may include the app's local data in that backup. That backup belongs to the backup service on the device. It is not a Steelbridge account.
Notifications
Steel Camp uses local notifications only for round-timer bells. The phone schedules the bell. A server does not send it. The app does not use remote push notifications. You can turn notifications off in the system settings for Steel Camp.
Export
You can export JSON or CSV through the system share sheet. Export starts when you choose it. You pick where the file goes, such as a mail app or a file app on the device. Steelbridge does not receive the file.
Deleting data
Open Settings in Steel Camp and delete all data. That removes what the app stored on the device. There is no account to close. A file you already exported is separate, and deleting data in the app does not erase that file. Uninstalling the app removes the app from the device.
Children
Steel Camp is not directed at children under 13, and it is not a kids' app. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from anyone else. A child who uses a device that already has the app still has that data stay on the device.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page changes with it. The date at the top is October 18, 2026. The app has no account and no mailing list, so a change is published here.
Beta list
The form on the Steel Camp page asks for an email address, an optional name, and the platforms you want: iPhone, iPad, or Android.
Steelbridge uses that information to send beta invites and launch news about Steel Camp. Submitting the form sends it by email to Steelbridge. Steelbridge does not sell that information or share it.
To get off the list, or to ask for the note to be deleted, reply to the email or write through the contact page.
